Heloísa Duarte de Olveira holds an undergraduate degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, having attended the Masters course in Juridical Environmental Sciences at the same institution. She is currently a Doctoral Researcher in Juridico-Political Sciences, having been admitted to the PhD to work on the theme of Ecological Harm - its conceptualization and reparation. She is a Faculty Tutor and also a lawyer. Her expertise lies in the fields of Environmental Law, Family Law and Administrative Law, having been awarded various prizes and scholarships throughout her academic career. Among her publications we should highlight the following titles "A jurisprudência comunitária e regime jurídico da responsabilidade extracontratual do Estado e demais entidades públicas", "O dano à biodiversidade: conceptualização e reparação", "A restauração natural no novo Regime Jurídico de Responsabilidade Civil por Danos Ambientais" and "Eficácia e adequação na tutela sancionatória de bens ambientais".
