Rui Lanceiro holds an undergraduate degree in Law and a PhD degree in Public Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon where he teaches as Assistant Professor. He also holds an «Intensive International Master of Laws (I.I. LL.M.) in European Public Law» by the Academy of European Public Law, European Public Law Center. His research interests fall in the fields of Constitutional Law, Administrative Law and European Law. He has participated in several international conferences in Italy, Greece and Germany and has written various scientific articles among which we should highlight “Austerity measures under judicial scrutiny: the Portuguese constitutional case law”, [with Mariana Canotilho and Teresa Violante], European Constitutional Law Review, volume 11, 2015, the “The Review of Compliance with the Aarhus Convention of the European Union”, in Global Administrative Law and EU Administrative Law - Relationships, Legal Issues and Comparison, 2011, and the "Direito da Concorrência e Ordens Profissionais" [with J. M. Sérvulo Correia, Rui Medeiros and Tiago Fidalgo de Freitas]. He is also a Legal Clerk in the Portuguese Constitutional Court.
