Perfil Biográfico

Ricardo Rodrigues de Oliveira is currently a Ph.D. researcher at the European University Institute (EUI), Florence, having graduated at the University of Lisbon School of Law. He is a legal adviser to the Human Rights Observatory, has undertaken an academic internship at the transnational crime, drugs and human beings trafficking section of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and also worked with the legal department of the British Embassy in Lisbon. His research comprises European and International law, namely on human rights and matters regarding data usage, privacy and transnational crime. He is editor of the European Journal of Legal Studies and has published, among others, the papers "Energy Union. Um espaço energético sustentável a uma só voz?" and "Direito à Saúde dos Refugiados. Perspectivas do Direito Português." One should also highlight is contribute to the books "O regime de responsabilidade civil extracontratual do Estado e demais entidades públicas: Comentários à luz da jurisprudência" and "Direito (do) Animal".
