Raquel Alexandra Brizida holds an undergradute in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, having finished a masters in Juridico-Political Sciences in the same Faculty where she also teaches as Assistant Lecturer and develops her research as a PhD Candidate in Constitutional Law, more specifically on the theme of the constitutional regulation of the media. Her research interests fall in the fields of Communication Law, Constitutional Law and Fundamental Rights. Raquel Alexandra Brizida has distinguished herself in journalismo, both on the radio and as a TV reporter. Among her published articles, we should mention “A Regulação da Comunicação Social numa Democracia Segura”, "As Omissões Normativas Inconstitucionais no Direito" as well as the chapters "Por uma Fiscalização Concreta e Difusa das Omissões Legislativas Inconstitucionais que violam Direitos, Liberdades e Garantias" and “A Liberdade de Dispor da Própria Vida: um Contributo para o Estudo da Eutanásia no Direito Constitucional Português”.
