Eduardo Correia Baptista is Associate Professor at the Instituto de Ciências Jurídico-Políticas (ICJP) of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, and has completed his PhD in that institution. His published work and his main research focus lays predominantly on the areas of Public International Law and Constitutional Law. On the former, one can mention his master dissertation Ius Cogens in International Law and his PhD dissertation O Poder Público Bélico em Direito Internacional - O Uso da Força pelas Nações Unidas em especial, as well as the two volumes of his Public International Law textbook. On the area of Constitutional Law, Os Direitos de Reunião e de Manifestação no Direito Portuguêsor the Direitos Fundamentais e Controlo Judicial da Constitucionalidade na Atenas Clássica. He has also participated on national and international conferences on these subjects. He lectured disciplines on juridical matters comprehending Introduction to the Study of Law, Public International Law, Fundamental Rights, Constitutional Law or the Law of Urbanism.
